All three Cornell clubs are continually saddled with the reality that the present funding mechanism at Cornell does not cover the basic operational expenses of the clubs on a yearly basis. This is not likely a surprise to many of you who can recall paying for a great deal of things out of your own pockets and hoping (sometimes in vain) for reimbursement from CU. Empty med kits, rotating coaches, ripped uniforms and extensive unpaid use of personal vehicles can make playing the sport we love a real challenge.

Despite these conditions, the level of dedication and commitment by the undergrad and grad teams is at its highest level in years with all three clubs continuing to notch impressive regular season records and post-season championships. The long awaited new rugby pitch on East Hill is the first step towards solidifying the Cornell Rugby experience but more help is needed from you.
