Team History

Founded in 1938 Cornell Rugby has a storied history that the Big Red honor with their on field performance. In the past five years Cornell has won two New York State Championships and qualified for the NRU Final Four twice. With a reputation for joining intensity with disciplined finesse, CURFC has placed players in both top level men's clubs and collegiate all-star sides.

In the Fall of 2005 the Faded Red Alumni dedicated two new pitches that they now call their own.

In 2009, the Big Red will look to carry on their winning ways in the newly formed Ivy League Rugby Championship Series.
